No. Your contacts receive plain text messages. They don't need to download anything or create an account. They just get a text when you land.
After creating a trip, tap "Add someone" and enter their name and email address. They'll receive an email invitation to opt in. When they complete the opt-in form, they're subscribed.
Contacts receive up to four texts per trip: an opt-in confirmation, a departure notification when you take off, a delay notification if your flight is delayed, and a landing notification when you arrive.
Yes. New users get 3 free trip credits. Each trip uses one credit. You can purchase additional credits when you need more.
Contacts can reply STOP to any message to immediately stop receiving updates. They'll receive a confirmation that they've been unsubscribed.
Yes. Landed tracks flights worldwide. SMS notifications are currently available to contacts with US and Canadian phone numbers.
Landed automatically detects delays and sends updated arrival times to your contacts. If your flight is cancelled, you can cancel the trip in the app, and your credit is refunded.
Landed works with all major airlines worldwide. If we can track it, we can notify your contacts when it lands.
Yes. You can add up to 5 contacts per trip. Each contact receives their own opt-in invitation and can manage their preferences independently.
