By accessing or using Landed ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Landed is a flight notification service that allows you to automatically notify designated contacts about your flight status. You forward flight confirmation emails to your unique Landed email address, add contacts to receive updates, and we send SMS notifications when your flight departs, lands, or experiences delays.

Program Name: Landed Flight Notifications
When you add a contact to a trip, that contact receives an email invitation with a link to opt in. The contact consents to receiving SMS flight notifications by completing an opt-in form on our website after clicking the link in their email invitation. Notifications are only sent to contacts who explicitly consent via the web form. This is not a recurring subscription service — messages are only sent for the specific trip the contact was added to.
Message Frequency: Typically 2-4 messages per trip. More for delayed or multi-stop flights:

To opt out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

SMS messages are delivered via Twilio. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
By adding a contact to a trip, you represent that you have a reasonable basis to believe the contact would want to receive updates about your travel.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee:
Flight data is sourced from third-party providers and may occasionally be delayed or inaccurate. Always verify critical flight information directly with your airline.
The free tier of the Service includes limits on the number of trips and contacts per trip. These limits may change at our discretion. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers with additional features or higher limits in the future.
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Landed and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LANDED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Landed and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Account page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
