Your parents want to know you're safe. Landed sends them texts when you take off, get delayed, and land — so you don't have to remember.
You're an adult. You travel. And every trip ends with "text me when you land." It's not a big ask, but it's one more thing to remember when you're exhausted and dealing with bags.
You just want to know they're on the ground. You're not trying to track their every move. But until that text arrives, you're checking FlightAware.
Landed removes the friction from both sides. The text goes out automatically when the plane lands. Travelers don't have to remember. Parents don't have to wait.
Your parents don't need to install Flighty or learn a new app. They just get a text.
They opt in once via a quick web form. After that, updates come automatically for every trip.
No logging into websites or refreshing flight trackers. The text just arrives.
If your flight is delayed, they know before you even land.
Flight tracker fans: They'll appreciate not having to check FlightAware constantly.
Busy parents: If they can read a text message, they can use Landed. That's the only interaction required.
Parents who call when you don't text: The text goes out automatically. No more missed calls because you forgot.
What if my parents don't text much?
They only need to opt in once via a quick web form. After that, updates come to them — they don't need to do anything else.
Can I add both parents?
Yes. Add up to 5 contacts per trip. Each parent gets their own updates.
What messages will my parents receive?
Up to four texts per trip: opt-in confirmation, departure notification, delay notification (if applicable), and landing notification.
Can my parents opt out?
Yes. They can reply STOP to any message. But if they're asking you to text when you land, they probably won't want to.
